Shoberg Custom Homes, founded by Matt Shoberg in 2003, is quickly becoming one of the top high end custom home builders in the Austin area. The foundation of Shoberg homes is set upon attention to detail, construction quality, communication, and one-on-one involvement with the owner and architect. Our reputation depends on the satisfaction of our clients, and it is because of this that we dedicate ourselves to accurate cost estimation, superb project management and open communication throughout the planning and construction processes.

Shoberg Homes has been and will remain a small highly detailed custom home builder concentrating on detail, quality and customer satisfaction. We build homes customized for each individual family’s living style. No two families are the same, thus every home we build is different in many ways. We dedicate ourselves to each and every project we take on and we consider our client’s and architect associate’s referrals proof of a job well done.

Our team is made up of diverse construction minds with decades of experience. We thoroughly enjoy the construction process and are passionate about our process and our product. We work with the owner and architect as a team, we concentrate on organization and quality, and we always keep our clients interests as our top priority.

Our Team

Matt Shoberg - President

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Matt has always had an eye for high end architecture, impressive construction projects and engineering feats. Matt knew at a young age exactly what he wanted to do – own and operate a high end construction company catering to clients with a discriminating eye and appreciation for quality. Matt’s construction experiences began working with his Grandfather, a builder and contractor in Albuquerque and has continued throughout his life. Matt graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering. Since then Matt has chased his passion for construction and has built a respected custom home business in Austin. Matt has surrounded himself with people who know the business and that he can trust, and spends most waking hours managing or studying projects under construction or in the horizon. In his free time Matt enjoys coastal fishing and spending time with his wife and two young sons.

Paige Shoberg – Office Manager, Project Coordinator

Paige Shoberg was born and raised in Westlake Hills, Austin, TX. Paige’s father and grandfather were both successful custom home builders and she followed in their footsteps by going to work for a home builder after graduating from Texas Tech. Paige met Matt Shoberg in 2005 and they began working together to build Shoberg Custom Homes. Paige currently assists in the back-end operations of Shoberg Custom Homes, acts as the property manager for their rental properties in Lubbock, TX is a real estate agent with Moreland Properties, and a mother of two young boys.

Stan Miller - Consultant

Stan Miller has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry as a Business Owner, President, Vice President and Manager. Stan’s experience is virtually unmatched, and he is truly one of the most respected construction experts in the community. Stan joined the Shoberg Custom Homes team as a consultant in 2006. Since then Matt and Stan have worked together on various projects ranging from custom and speculative homes in the $1-5 Million dollar range, as well as select commercial and restaurant projects.

Manuel Hernandez – Project Carpenter

Manuel has been with Shoberg Homes since 2007. As the Project Carpenter and assistant to Matt and Robin, he has been a loyal and hard working team member. His background in framing, steel, concrete and general construction gives him the skills needed to be a valuable asset to Shoberg Homes.
